| This is the newest evolution of the Bandit. The Bandit was first introduced 8 years ago. As the years passed, we learned the weakness and strengths of different combinations of sub-components, materials and wiring designs so that the Bandit improved every step of the way. Our goal with the Bandit is to delivery a system that works day in and day out at an affordable price point. The Bandit is designed to be simple and user friendly. When you keep a system simple you have less breakdowns.
| The Bandit is designed with its sub-components mounted in a sturdy aluminum tube frame. The pump used is the venerable, tried and true Fat Boy 7870-101E. The Fat Boy comes pre-wired with Pressure Tek's proprietary wiring design that encompasses a cooling fan for extended motor duty cycles times. You simply put your deep cell group 24 marine battery in the extra box and hook up the pre-installed leads. This size battery will power the Bandit for 7 hours of "on-gun" time when fully charged. The pump inlet is fed through 12’ of hose attached to a 40” drop stick with a check valve and filter. You simply insert the drop stick into your solution through the man way (cap) of the tank. When you need to rinse the system or change chemicals you simply turn the pump off, pull the drop stick out of the tank and the check valve will insure you don’t loose prime, insert the drop stick in to the next container and turn the switch back on. This method eliminates complex ball valve setups that can increase the risk of air leaks in the inlet system. The Bandit also comes with an accumulator mounted between the pump and reel in the outlet line. The accumulator lets you restrict the flow of the pump without excessive cycling becoming an issue. You can restrict the flow either with smaller orifice nozzles or by regulating it with gun trigger pressure. The reel is mounted on top of the aluminum tube frame to give a compact footprint of 32” wide x 16” deep. The reel is made of aluminum with stainless steel plumbing and swivel. It’s loaded with 200’ of Kuri Tec agricultural hose. This tough yet flexible yellow hose has a pressure rating of up to 600 psi with swagged stainless steel ends and a ½” id. The trigger gun assembly is made of reinforced polypropylene with a stainless steel ball and spring. At the end of the 18” lance is a ¼” stainless steel quick connect to easily change pattern size by just clicking in your desired pattern from the supplied 4way nozzle holder. The nozzle holder comes with 4 nozzles with a #40 orifice in patterns…0, 15, 25, 40 degree. The zero degree nozzle will give you the longest shot distance of 40'. As the pattern gets wider the shot distance decreases accordingly.
